I have not had any formal training in creating art, however I always embrace whatever I view and recognize how it makes me feel. I started at an early age, continued through my university years until a career and family further developed my life experience while I stored concepts for future works. I now have the time to share these with you.
When you view my paintings, I want you to reach out with your mind to feel the texture of a rock or a tree trunk or sense the placidity of a pond. A number of my pieces contain pathways or otherwise means by which, one can traverse a canvas with hopefully the urge to follow the bend or cross the log to envision what might be out of view.
With few exceptions, I have stood on these sites and felt the warmth of the sun or the damp coolness of the deep shade or the depth of a gaze across an expanse of gray skies. I hope you enjoy the experience!
